Lions Club of Bangalore Prerana is part of Lions International, District 317 E, chartered on March 2022 by Lion Sowmya B. A., PMJF as its Charter President.

The club was chartered with a team of 21 members, who inspire to serve the less fortunate within the local community.

The focus areas of the team are

• Environment
• Health and Hygiene
• Education and awareness programmes
• Women and youth empowerment with skill development training programmes
• Vocational training programs to build economic foundation
• Care for the aged and disabled
• Need based humanitarian services

Club Awards and Achievements

• 2022-23: Model Club, 1st club in District 317 E to become 100% Model Club within 1 year of making the pledge.
• 2022-23: International President’s Gold Medal, was awarded to the Club President Lion Sowmya B.A.,PMJF
• 2023-24: Zone Chairperson Award was awarded to Lion Sowmya B. A. , PMJF Zone-3, Region-2, District 317 E with 4 Healthy Clubs. District and International Awards.
• 2022-23, 2023-24: Club Excellence Award was awarded to the club, 2 consecutive times starting the very first year for the commitment towards service.
• 2022-23, 2023-24: Top 4 in the District consecutively.
• 2023-25: Lion Sowmya B.A.,PMJF was made LDSF Trustee, based on her commitment to service the society.
• 2023-24: Membership Satisfaction Award
• 2024-25: Lion Sowmya B.A., PMJF became the District Cabinet Treasurer
• 2024-25: Lion Sowmya B.A., PMJF was awarded International President’s Appreciation Certificate for fulfilling mission of Lions International
